Ink Blotting

Our task was to come up with some brand new children's characters by using the technique - Ink Blotting. We had to make random marks on a piece of paper and then try find characters within the shapes.

I came up with 4 characters called The Dreamies.

Daydream - Creates new dreams and is the founder of the Dreamies

Professor Thought - Stores all the dreams in his huge dream library 

The Dream Queen, Chimera - Protects Dreamland, grants special dreams every now and the and looks after all the Dreamies

Wishlings - The queens pets, deliver the dreams to the humans

We were also asked to think about where they would live, i came up with the idea of a giant old tree in the clouds.

Dress for Success

We were asked to come up with a way to package a feeling. I chose to use Success. I came up with this idea of packaging a tie, that when you wear, guarantees you Success. Everything is handmade (even the typographic tie).

These were from a typographic summer project i did, we were asked to keep a diary of our summer in a typographic way, then use some of the pages to make postcards.

Posters 2nd year

We were asked to produce two posters, one to educated people on an issue we felt strongly about and another to promote and art gallery exhibition.

I chose to do my poster for anti - fur.
